MW level - The world's first perovskite ground PV commercial project successfully connected to grid
On November 29th, the 2 million kilowatt photovoltaic desertification control project in Kubuqi, Mengxi Base, located in the hinterland of the Kubuqi Desert in Hangjinqi, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, successfully delivered power, and the 1 MW perovskite ground photovoltaic power station included in the project was also successfully connected to the grid.
This is the world's first commercially operated megawatt level perovskite ground photovoltaic project, covering an area of 26667 square meters, using 11200 pieces of perovskite α-module developed and manufactured by Microquanta. It had truly achieved the large-scale manufacturing and application of perovskite photovoltaic technology. The successful grid connection has promoted perovskite technology into a substantial commercialization, and greatly accelerated the industrialization process.
